Please read before commissioning me!
Claiming a Spot
How do I claim a commission spot?
-I will announce on my Instagram when I am taking commissions and will provide a link to a google form. You will fill out this form if interested in a commission from me.-If you are interested in reserving a commission spot for a later date, please message me directly.-Once I have reviewed your information from the Google form, I will email you a confirmation that your spot has been secured. An invoice will be soon to follow, so please keep an eye out for it in your email.-After the invoice has been paid, I will begin the commission process.-To keep updated with the status of your commission, please refer to the Trello Board linked below.
Terms of Service
General Statement
-Commissions will be discussed through email ([email protected]). When emailing me regarding a commission, please include Your Name followed by Commission, that way I know who you are and why you're emailing me!-Do not edit my art without my permission. You are free to crop your commission for your icon or banner, but please be sure to credit me if my signature is not visible.-Please take a look at my work posted on my Instagram (@mockingjayart) for examples of my artistic style, as this is the style in which your commission will be drawn in.-Be very thorough in your description so that I know exactly what you're looking for in a commission. Feel free to also put "Artistic Freedom" if you do not have any specifics!
Prices and Payment
-All payment will be made through PayPal in USD. I do not take cash or checks.-Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving an invoice. You will be notified by email ahead of time that I will be sending an invoice. If no payment is made in that time, I will open your spot to the next person in the queue.-Payment must be made in full before I begin a piece. I will only start the sketch process if the invoice has been paid.
Cancellations and Refunds
-You are free to cancel your commission anytime before I've started on your commission.-If I have started on your commission and you would like to cancel, you will only be refunded for the amount of the commission I have not yet completed.
Process
-I will send a rough work in progress sketch after the invoice has been paid. This is to ensure that the general posing and expression are to your liking before I continue!-Colors will remain mostly true to the reference images, however I may adjust them slightly while I work to better suite my style. That being said, I will never adjust the colors so much that your pet/character are easily not recognizable.-After I receive your Google form entry and approve your spot, I will add you to my Trello board queue. Here is where you can keep up to date on progress of your order outside of my email updates.-Please keep in mind that commissions are not my only job as I also work full time! This is why the commission turnaround times range from 2-4 weeks. I will always try to complete commissions in a timely manner, however other work does sometimes interfere. If this ever happens, I will be sure to email you any updates to my schedule regarding your commission.-Please be sure to let me know if your commission requires a strict deadline! All commissions must be made at least 2 months before a strict deadline to ensure I have plenty of time to create the best work for you!-If you ever need to get in contact with me regarding an update, please do so through email, as my Instagram DMs can get quite flooded at times and I may miss something. I will try my best to get back to you within 2-3 business days. I am most active on my email between the hours of 2:00pm - 9:00pm eastern time. Feel free to message me there any time!
Art Consent
-I will draw any animal/pet as I am comfortable with nearly all animal types. This includes more unique or exotic pets! If I'm not as used to the chosen species I will be sure to ask for plenty of references.-I will NOT draw any NSFW, or fetish art.-I have the right to refuse any commission that I do not feel comfortable drawing.-In the Google form I will ask if you consent to me posting your commission to my social media. If you are not comfortable with this I will never post your commission to my pages.

-You are allowed to post your commission so long as you give proper credit to me (@mockingjayart).
